Aureon Developments & Realty has announced a comprehensive sustainability roadmap that commits the company to achieving 100% green building certification for all new projects by 2030.
The announcement, made at the UAE Sustainability Summit, outlines key initiatives including:
- All new projects to achieve minimum LEED Gold or equivalent certification - Net-zero carbon operations across our corporate offices by 2027 - 50% reduction in construction waste by 2028 - Implementation of circular economy principles in material sourcing
"The construction industry has a significant role to play in addressing climate change," said our Sustainability Director. "These commitments reflect our responsibility to future generations and our belief that sustainable construction is simply better construction."
Aureon has already achieved LEED certification on multiple projects and is currently developing the UAE's first net-zero mixed-use development.
